Sheet numbers 392, 384, 348, 377, OL38, OL39 in the OS Explorer Maps series cover all of The West Highland Way, the most popular long-distance walking route in Great Britain. Famed for its diverse terrain, spectacular scenery and reasonable daily sections along its 154 km (95 mile) course. Daily distances depend upon your fitness, walking ability and experience, or that of the slowest member of your group. The route will take between 7 and 12 days, depending on how many stops you make and long walking days can be broken into two more manageable sections. You can also factor in break days, either to take a rest or to explore some of the impressive areas close by the route.
