Silva Field Compass

Silva’s Field compass is the new contemporary version of the entry level compass designed to meet the demands of schools, youth groups and leisure outdoor navigators and is the world’s best selling compass. The small size and the rounded back of the base plate makes this compass an ideal youth/beginners compass for all kind of land navigation.

The Silva Field has base plate map-measuring in mm and scales of 1:50,000 (1:50k) and 1:25,000 (1:25k) with a declination scale inside the capsule making it compatible with most maps. The compass features a DryFlex™ rubber housing which is chosen for best performance, positive tactile feeling, comfort and grip.

The Silva Field compass comes complete with a detachable safety-release lanyard – a reliable companion in all outdoor situations!
