This pocket-sized guide describes car tours, picnic places and walks throughout the Algarve. There is a fold-out touring map for motorists, which also highlights the various walking areas. For those without a car, there are timetables for local transport.

The major part of the book is devoted to the walks for all ages and abilities. They are all illustrated with 1:50,000 topographical walking maps (which also show the route of the Algarve Way - a long-distance trail running from the border with Spain to the west coast).
