The map includes insets showing excellent enlargements of the three main cities on the island, Kuching (1:13 000), Bandar Seri Bengawan and Kota Kinabalu. The insets show the city centres and clearly indicate important buildings, place of interest and hotels.
The island of Borneo is shared by three countries - Malaysia and Brunei have the northern portion, with the balance forming Kalimantan Province of Indonesia. This double-sided map shows both northern and southern portions.
The map is printed on paper and on both sides with topography shown using altitude shading and a good number of spot heights. There is also an extensive index of places.
